Senior / Software Developer [C/C++ - Linux]
Job Description:
- Participate
in development of audio/video media framework software.
- Active
participation from "Product Specification" to "Product
Delivery".
- Design
& develop software modules and implement code to adapt industry
standard specifications.
- Opportunity
for designing core "System Software" modules.
- Regular
interaction with international customers.
Desired Profile:
- Excellent
knowledge of development of multi-tasking software in C/C++.
- Experience
in High-level and Systems programming.
- Hands-on
experience with Desktop or Embedded Linux development platform.
- Experience
of media processing pipeline is useful, but not essential.
- Knowledge
of internals of GStreamer, V4L, MPlayer, VLC, XINE, OpenMAX, etc is a
plus.
- Skills
in modular, structured design and/or object oriented software design
methodology.
- Good
skills in problem-solving & debugging software.
- Ability
to take responsibility & get things done.
- Excellent
communication skills are essential.
- A
long-term approach to careers.
- Senior
positions available for candidates having relevant experience of 3 years
or more.

Software Engineer [C/Embedded - Media]
Job Description:
- Design
Software modules for hardware-accelerated Image Processing SoC pipeline.
- Acquire
knowledge of Image Sensor and Video codec modules.
- Optimizing
the modules in video processing pipeline to extract best performance.
- Work with International
customers to discuss specifications, design and create products.
Desired Profile:
- At
least 2 years of experience in Programming with C.
- Familiarity
with software development on embedded platforms.
- Hands-on
experience with an RTOS is a plus.
- Good
Debugging and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge
of fundamentals of image/video processing is useful, but NOT
essential
- Ability
to take responsibility & get things done
- Excellent
communication skills are essential.
